There were double celebrations this weekend to mark St George’s Day and the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Youngsters enjoyed arts and crafts and dragon-themed fun at Fullwell Cross Library, Barkingside, on Saturday, while royallists had the chance to pose for a selfie with a lifesize cut out of Her Majesty – and a real corgi.

And England’s patron saint himself appeared to be parading in the High Road, Ilford.
