Some of the most iconic buildings in the borough will be opening their doors for Open House weekend on September 22 and 23.
The free London-wide event gives visitors the opportunity to discover the hidden treasures on their doorstep.
A number of building owners in Redbridge have agreed to be part of the weekend and Central Library, which has undergone a major refurbishment this year, St Peter’s Church and The Chapel, both in Aldborough Hatch, will be open for the first time.
This year’s theme is The Changing Face of London which explores issues that are relevant to local communities and demonstrate how the built environment is evolving.
For a full list of participating buildings and opening times pick up a free Open House guide from any Redbridge library, visit www.redbridge.gov.uk or www.openhouselondon.org.uk.
