Drivers have been facing traffic problems this morning after an oil spill at the A12 Gants Hill roundabout.
A spokesman for TfL said one lane of the road had been closed while contractors worked to clean up the fluid.
He said the oil was believed to have come from a collision overnight.
Irving Freed, 80, said part of the roundabout had been cordoned off.
