Debenhams is pumping millions of pounds into its Ilford branch.
The modernisation of the shop, in Exchange Ilford, will be finished next month.
It will see the cosmetics hall revamped and expanded to include brands such as Benefit, Bare Minerals and Urban Decay.
Some departments will move floors and Ted Baker lingerie will be available in the womenswear department. The café will also be refurbished.
Store manager Nadia Ohaka said: “The modernisation has already begun, so there’s a real buzz among colleagues. We’re confident customers are going to love the new and improved shopping experience.”
