With the general election only weeks away, you only have until the end of the day to register to vote.
The entire process takes less than ten minutes and is no trouble at all but it needs to be done by 11.59pm on Monday.
Across Redbridge, there has been a big surge in interest as the Electoral Register shows the number of people registered to vote has increased by nearly 6 percent.
There is a specific push to get more young people to vote, as the turnout is traditionally low, with just 43pc casting their vote in the 2015 general election.
Novelty offers to persuade young voters to sign up includes encouragement from Thorpe Park - the popular theme park has said it will offer 18-24s a ticket for just £20 if they bring along proof they have signed up to vote in the upcoming election.
If you want to have your say on June 8, you must be over 18, be British, Irish or a qualifying commonwealth citizen and either be a UK resident in the UK or a Brit living abroad who has been registered to vote within the last 15 years.
You do not need to do this if you were registered to vote at the EU referendum, and you have not changed address.
You will be automatically reregistered, and should have received your polling card by now.
However you do need to register by Monday if you need to update your name, address or other details, or you are a first time voter.
You will also need to register if you wish to change the way you vote, for example in person or in the post.
Registering takes five minutes and you need your national insurance number.
Make sure you register in the next three days, and don’t miss out on having your say.
The easiest way to register is online is by clicking here or you can get in contact with Redbridge Electoral Services by calling 0208 708 7171.
