One of the best Danish Gospel choirs are set to sing in Ilford during Easter after being invited over to England to perform in an Easter concert.
The Eden Christian Centre, Connaught Road, Ilford, and Ilford High Road Baptist Church, High Road, have organised for 40-piece choir The True Gospel Singers to perform on April 19.
Pastor Bryon Jones, 52, of the Eden Christian Centre, said: “I had a gospel group many years ago and we were singing in Denmark with The True Gospel Singers. That is the link.
“The group is very good. I am very particular - if they were average I would not even be advertising it.
“There are 40 of them who have come all this way - it will be worth going to see.”
Noel Robinson, an international worship singer, and Eden Praise, from the Eden Christian Centre, are also on the concert bill.

The concert will be held at Ilford High Road Baptist Church, 322 High Road, Ilford IG1 1QP. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are free.
