More than 600 cyclists joined an amateur ride from Hainault into the Essex countryside for charity on Sunday.
They set off from the Redbridge Cycling Centre, in Forest Road, and chose either a 33 mile route or a more gruelling 60 mile ride.
The scenic journey took them through tiny villages and back to the centre through Epping Forest.
Marshals, mechanics, first aid and refreshment stops were dotted along the route.
Two partner charities on the day were the Prostate Cancer Research Centre and Coppafeel, who raise awareness of breast cancer in young people.
Alan Strawbridge, from organiser bike events, said: “Despite the forecast, the rain stayed away all day and it was a great success and very few callouts for the first aid team.”
The group organisers recreational bike rides across the UK for beginners, families and cycling enthusiasts.
