A woman with Parkinson’s disease will talk about her book on how to cope with the condition at a Woodford Green bookshop.
Terry Rummins, the author of So, I’ve Got Parkinson’s Disease, will sign copies and answer questions at The Village Bookshop in High Road on Saturday.
The book covers her experience of the disease since diagnosis and is designed to help people understand how the condition will affect them.
A pictorial version of the book, with illustrations by her husband Jack, was also produced.
Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition which affects movement, causing tremor, rigidity and slowness of movement.
The event runs from 1pm to 4pm.
