Two men have been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon after an incident near Ilford High Road this afternoon (Friday).
Crowds gathered during the incident at around 1pm in Thompson Close, Ilford, opposite Ilford Police Station, High Road.
A Met Police spokesman confirmed two suspects had been detained by officers.
