Three teenagers have been charged following an alleged assault on an off-duty policeman at Wanstead Flats.
A 38-year-old man was found with stab wounds at the site on Monday September 15 by firefighters called to put out a grass fire.
A 15-year-old girl was charged with wounding with intent, arson, possession of a knife or blade in a public place, possession of cannabis and grievous bodily harm.
A 14-year-old girl was charged with arson and assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and a 13-year-old boy was charged with arson and possession of a knife or blade in a public blade.
All three have been bailed to appear at Redbridge Youth Court on Monday February 2.
