A teacher accused of taking pictures of colleagues on the toilet at a Redbridge school appeared in court today.
The 43-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, entered no plea to charges of attempting to observe a person doing a private act and six counts of voyeurism by recording a private act at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
He is accused of using a mobile phone to photograph colleagues in female staff toilets at the secondary school.
The alleged offences took place between November 2012 and June, when he was suspended from work.
The teacher was granted bail on conditions that he does not visit the school or contact witnesses and will appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on October 7.
