There were severe delays on the Central Line from Hainault to Wanstead this morning, due to a person on the track at Tottenham Court Road.
The station fully reopened just before 10am but there remained residual delays on the rest of the line.
Trains between Marble Arch and Liverpool Street were earlier suspended, which affected Gants Hill, Newbury Park and other Redbridge stations.
Users took to Twitter to express their anger.
There are now minor delays between Leytonstone and Hainault via Woodford.
