Renewed appeal to find 60-year-old man, who disappeared 13 years ago

Detectives from Redbridge are reviewing the cold case of a 60-year-old man, who disappeared 13 years ago,
George Davis, who would now be 60, was reported to the police as missing in August 2003.
He was last seen on July 5, 2003 by his sister Linda in Woodford.
Mr Davis was 47 when he went missing and is described as a white man with a pale complexion, of slim build, around 5ft 9ins tall with short mousey blond hair and blue eyes.
He has a dagger, a flower and a bird tattooed on his right arm.

Before he went missing, Mr Davis had told his sister he was going to live in Jamaica, but nothing suggest he ever did.
His sister Linda said: “I love my brother and just want him to come home. I need to know after all these years what has happened to him.”

Detectives from Redbridge are re-appealing for information to help trace him.
Det Con Terry Smith, from Redbridge CID, who is reviewing the case said: “This missing person case has never been closed. Initial appeals at the time George was reported missing failed to yield any significant information and any leads that were establish did not come to anything.
“Having reviewed the investigation, we have decided to launch a final effort to find George.”
