A cycling club has agreed to return to the borough in which it originated, after being based in Epping Forest for 16 years.
Redbridge Cycling Club, which formed in 1972, will be based at the Redbridge Cycling Centre, Hog Hill, Hainault and will take advantage of the impressive 2km road circuit.
Club secretary Paul O’Kelly said: “Up until recently we were based at North Weald near Epping.
“We were there for about 16 years and before that we were based in the Redbridge area.
“Our membership diminished being based outside of the borough so some of the members decided to attempt a move back to our roots and the result is our new association with the Redbridge Cycling Centre.”
