Police appeal for information after woman raped in Woodford Green

The Met Police is investigating after a woman was raped at an address in Woodford Green on Wednesday.
Officers were called to a property in the area after receiving reports of a rape and aggravated burglary at 12.30pm.
Det Insp Peter Howarth, of the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse Command, said: “This is an abhorrent crime suffered by a woman who was at the premises, but I can reassure the community that my officers are committed to bringing those responsible to justice.
“I appeal to anyone with information to contact us.”
