A PENSIONER has been detained under the Mental Health Act after trespassing on train tracks at Redbridge Tube station.

The 87-year-old woman, of Barkingside, has been taken to hospital with injuries to her hand after the British Transport Police (BTP) were alerted at 11.46am today.
A BTP spokesman said its officers attended the scene off Eastern Avenue, Redbridge, together with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.
The line was handed back to London Underground at 12.23pm.
