Detectives investigating the suspected murder of Sandel Serbu in Ilford have released images of two men they wish to trace.

Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of a fight and an injured man at the High Road junction with Connaught Road, Ilford, at 2.48am on Sunday, November 12.

They found Sandel 36, a Romanian national who was living in Barking and was also known by the nicknames Sorin and Braileanu, suffering from serious injuries.

He was taken by ambulance to an east London hospital, where he died at 4.35am.

Razvan Stoica, 26, - also known as Razvan Vlagescu or Jessie - and Araman-Nardi Stoica, 24, (also known as Nardi Gladiatoru) are being sought by police in connection with Sandel’s death.

Razvan is Romanian, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build. Araman-Nardi is 5ft 11 and of medium build.

Both men are known to frequent the areas of Redbridge, Newham and Barking.

Det Insp Paul Considine. of the Homicide and Major Crime Command who is leading the investigation, said: “We need to speak to these men in connection with Sandel’s brutal murder.

“Whilst we have made a number of arrests, and charged two men, it’s important we trace Razvan and Araman-Nardi. I would urge anyone who may recognise them or knows of their whereabouts to contact police immediately.”
