A man has been jailed for 32 weeks after admitting three offences.
Errol Willis, 51, of Flanders Road, in East Ham, pleaded guilty to vehicle interference, going equipped to steal and theft from a motor vehicle.
He was also fined £150 at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
Willis committed the offences on the evening of August 17 and was stopped by officers in Sackville Gardens, Ilford, after a description of him was circulated.
Officers found the suspect in possession of items they believed were stolen from a vehicle and arrested him.
