‘Major incident’ in Ilford Town Centre this morning

A section of Ilford Town Centre is cordoned off this morning as police investigate a “major incident”.

Eyewitnesses have reported seeing forensics officers at the scene.

The cordon stretches from Ilford Police Station into the town centre.
