The jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering his boss has begun its deliberations.
Marcel Crihan, 34, of Hickling Road, Ilford, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court for the eighth day, accused of murdering removal man Florin Onea, 49, of the same address, following a “fracas” on Saturday, October 17.
The trial comes after Mr Onea was found with a stab wound to the chest when police were called to reports of a disturbance. He died nine days later.
Jurors have heard evidence from the victim’s wife, police officers, a neighbour who witnessed the disturbance and Mr Crihan himself.
Mr Crihan denies the charges.
