Two women are due to go on trial this morning charged with the murder of eight-year-old Ayesha Ali.
Kiki Muddar, 43, of Green Lane, Ilford, and Ayesha’s mother Polly Chowdhury, 35, of Broomfield Road, Chadwell Heath, are accused of killing her in 2013.
The six-week trial will be heard at the Old Bailey before judge Christopher Moss QC.
