Homes were evacuated after a tree fell on a house yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters were alerted at about 3pm following the incident in Lambourne Road, Chigwell.
Structural engineers were called to assess the badly damaged property after the house and the house next door were both evacuated.
Passer-by Ryan Battles tweeted: “Looks like it’s been a little bit windy.”
