Police have closed a section of road in Clayhall Avenue following a burglary.
Officers had originally said their presence in the road was connected with last night’s London-wide violence.
But police have now said they are investigating a burglary close to Clayhall Avenue’s junction with Caterham Avenue.
They have been at the scene for more than two hours.
