Firefighters tackle blaze at house in Clayhall

About 20 firefighters tackled a blaze at a house, which is being refurbished, this morning.
Four fire engines arrived at the property in Atherton Road, Clayhall, after firefighters were alerted at 5.10am.
A small area of the property’s loft conversion was damaged by the fire.
There were no reports of any injuries and the blaze was under control by 6.04am
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
