Police are investigating a rape which allegedly took place in Wanstead this morning.
Officers were called to Nutter Lane at around 9.15am (February 7) to reports of a woman alleging she had been raped near to the location.
She is currently being supported by specially trained officers.
A crime scene remains in place.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
