A woman in her early 50s was threatened at knifepoint by two men and told she would be murdered after answering the door to a decoy in Clayhall.
Now officers have released e-fits of the suspects and are asking for help from the public to identify these men as soon as possible.
The victim, a woman in her early 50s, was home alone when she heard the doorbell ring at her house in Stradbroke Grove, on April 30, around 9pm.
She looked out the window and saw a woman, with shoulder length brown hair and olive skin wearing a long cardigan over a shirt.
The woman, who looked like she was in her 30s, was well dressed and smiling and waving at the victim.

He then threatened her at knifepoint, telling her he would kill her. He forced the woman to give over details about how much money was in the house.
At this point, the victim noted that he had an east European accent.
During this time, suspect two went up to the first floor and searched bedrooms, taking cash and sentimental jewellery.
Whilst inside the home, both men spoke to each other in a foreign language.
Suspect one is described as a white male, aged about 40 to 42 years, of thin build and tall.
He was wearing blue jeans, a black small leather jacket and yellow dirty boots.
The victim described his appearance as “strange” because the jacket looked too small and he looked dirty.
He had dark coloured hair cut in a short back and sides; it was spiky on top with dyed blonde tips.
Suspect two was described as short and fat, about 45 years old, wearing a grey Nike tracksuit and he had a missing front tooth.
He was also dirty looking and had an east European accent.
The suspects remained at the address for about 30 minutes before making off.
Det Con Richard Draper, the investigating officer from the East Area Command Unit CID, said: “This was a planned and violent attack that left the victim bruised and very distressed.
“The two e-fits are thought to be very accurate and if you know or recognise these men call police immediately.”
