A boy from Seven Kings has been charged with the murder of a 20-year-old in Mile End.

The 15-year-old youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of stabbing Syed Jamanoor Islam to death last Tuesday.

The former Tower Hamlets College student was attacked in Wagner Street at around 4.45pm and died in hospital an hour later.

Nayeem Chowdhury, 18, from Bow, and a teenager, 17, from Bow, are also jointly charged with murder.

All three were charged yesterday and will appear before Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.
