A generous artist has donated a painting to Barnardo’s highlighting the charity’s work with vulnerable children and young people.
Rosa Branson, 79, of London, donated the Renaissance style artwork, which will hang in the charity’s church off Tanners Lane, Barkingside, after visiting the site based in Tanners Lane, Barkingside.
She said: “It’s a chance for me to give something back and by donating my painting I hope I can continue to highlight Barnardo’s cause.”
Anne Marie Carrie, Barnardo’s chief executive, added: “Rosa’s talents are truly special and we’re delighted to accept such a wonderful work of art.
“The detail is incredible and if you look closely it tells Barnardo’s story through time – including how we’ve helped service users make it through child sexual exploitation.”
