Officers are appealing to the public for help identifying a man after a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a bus.
The incident happened on September 18, 2015 at about 3.45pm on the bus route 123 or 179 travelling on Woodford Avenue, Ilford, towards Gants Hill.
A man stood next to a 12-year-old girl and attempted to put his hand up her skirt.
The man police want to speak to is described as an Asian man, aged between 40 and 50 years old, with thin black and grey hair. He was clean shaven and is described as possibly having a glass eye.
He was wearing brown baggy trousers, a black T-shirt with small check patterns and was said to be holding a small stick, similar to a walking stick.
