A 29-year-old has been charged with affray and theft from a shop following a “stabbing” in the Exchange Ilford shopping centre on Tuesday.
Duncan Kinge, 29, of St Margarets, Barking, allegedly stabbed a security guard in the forearm at around 4.20pm in the centre in High Road, Ilford.
He appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court, Cranbrook Road, Barkingside, this afternoon and has been remanded in custody.
A further hearing will be held at the court on Wednesday.
