Major planning changes have been granted for an ancient woodland housing 4,000 Olympic security staff – but the work has already been done.
Temporary housing company Snoozebox, stationed at Hainault Forest Country Park, Fox Burrow Road, Hainault, was given permission by the regulatory committee on Monday at Redbridge Town Hall, High Road, Ilford, to make changes to the original planning application.
The storage of topsoil was removed to create a temporary access road.
The company also installed a temporary water supply from the existing water main in Romford Road.
