Residents are being urged to vote for Valentines Park in an effort for it to come top in the People’s Choice Awards.
The popular park retained its Keep Britain Tidy green flag status for next year, automatically qualifying it for the awards.
For the past two years the Cranbrook Road park has made it into the top 10 but now Redbridge Council is hoping to see it top the table.
The park was once the parkland of Valentines Mansion a gentleman’s residence built in 1696, but in 1912 the whole estatewas opened to the public.
Voting closes on Tuesday.
