A Hainault man has been sentenced to eight weeks imprisonment after admitting racially abusing and threatening a man in an Ilford chicken shop.
Vincent Bradley, of Robinia Close, pleaded guilty to the charge at Barkingside Magistrates Court last week.
Bradley, 32, threatened Khawaja Afzal with violence in the SSS Chicken Shop in High Road, Ilford – which is only 20 metres from Ilford Police Station.
The court heard how the incident, on October 20, was of a racially aggravated nature.
Bradley was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £80 and a criminal courts charge of £180.
