A man has been charged with the murder of a 54-year-old woman in Ilford.
Muhammad Javed, 58, of Staines Road, Ilford, was charged on Wednesday evening, February 14. He is remanded in custody to appear at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, February 15.
The woman was found with critical injuries at an address in Staines Road, on the evening of Tuesday, February 13.
She was pronounced dead at the scene. She has not yet been formally identified but detectives are satisfied that she is Saeeda Hussain, 54.
