A 17-year-old has been arrested in connection with a murder investigation after a 19-year-old was stabbed to death in Goodmayes last week.

A youth arrested at a north London police station on Friday last week in connection with the death of Ziggy Worrell-Owusu has been released on bail.

The Metropolitan Police launched an investigation after 19-year-old Ziggy was knifed in the stomach early on Thursday.

He had been at a party in the Basement Bar Shisha Lounge, Goodmayes.

The 17-year-old has been bailed to return at a date in December.
