Police were called to Horns Road last night (Wednesday, March 28) at 9.03pm after a boy - thought to be 16 - was stabbed in the stomach.

A Met Police spokesman said: “A male was reported to have been attacked in Tring Close by a group of youths armed with weapons and with their faces concealed, who then fled the scene.

“The victim was able to make his way to Horns Road where he was assisted by members of the public.

“He was conveyed to an east London hospital with a stab injury to his stomach. We await an update as to his condition.”

A crime scene has been established both at Tring Close and Horns Road.

No arrests have been made.

Officers are appealing for information and urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has knowledge about it to call police on 101 quoting reference 7493/28 March.
