A Redbridge teacher has been charged with voyeurism after allegedly photographing a female colleague in the school toilets.

The 42-year-old man was suspended from the secondary school, which cannot be named for legal reasons, in June.

He has been charged with one count of attempting to observe a person doing a private act and six counts of voyeurism by recording a private act.

A spokesman for Redbridge Police said all alleged offences relate to one woman between November last year and June.

The teacher has been bailed to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on September 24.
