Redbridge to get 22 new police officers

More than 20 new police officers are undergoing training before being unleashed on to the streets of Redbridge.
The 22 new Pcs will join the neighbourhood police teams ahead of the Mayor of London Boris Johnson’s new policing model which will be rolled out in September.
Borough commander Det Ch Spt Sue Williams, said: “These additional officers will assist the borough in our continued efforts to reduce crime and deliver on targets.”
She said that for 2012/13 there was a 10 per cent reduction in crime.
