Deuces Bar in Chigwell Road scene of disturbance

THE Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright was behind bars this morning after he was arrested when police were called to a drunken brawl in his Chigwell nightclub.

The fight broke out just after 2am at Deuces Bar in Chigwell Road, Woodford Green, and police were called to the scene at 2.38am this morning.

One man was injured but declined medical assistance at the scene. The extent of his injuries are unknown.

Mark Wright, 23, had been at the club with Lewis Tweed, brother of Jack Tweed, who found fame after marrying Big Brother star Jade Goody.

Mr Wright and Jack Tweed set out on a joint venture to co-manage the bar in November, but the official opening was set back after vandals torched the club.

Mr Wright earlier wrote on networking website Twitter confirming he was single after his on/off relationship with co-star Lauren Goodger, which apparently ended during the filming of the Christmas special of the show, aired on Christmas Eve.

Hours before the night was due to start, he also tweeted, boasting: “Going out and turning my swag on with Jack Tweed.”

A spokesman for Redbridge Police said: “We were called to a disturbance at Deuces Bar on Chigwell Road at 2.38am.

“One man was believed to be injured during the incident.
“Two men, aged 23 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of affray and taken into custody at an east London police station.”
The pair have been bailed until the end of January.
Mr Wright’s run-in with the law was missed by most cast members of the reality TV show, who instead partied at Funky Mojoes in High Road, South Woodford, where X Factor finalist Cher Lloyd performed in front of a crowd including the show’s stars Amy Childs, Samantha Faiers and Lauren Goodger.
