More than 1,000 people got free window alarms, purse bells and panic alarms from the safer neighbourhood team stationed in High Road, Ilford last week.
The team were advising residents about any concerns they had as well giving them crime prevention aids.
The team, which covers Clementswood ward and Ilford town centre, were on hand on Thursday from 10.30am.
Sgt Jake Sutton said: “It went very well and was a complete success. A large amount of community advice was given about burglary, robbery and general crime awareness.”
The team of about 10 gave out crime prevention packs which included property marking pens and special key chains to protect your wallet or purse.
Mr Sutton said that between 1,200 and 1,500 people visited the stand.
