Residents and staff at the Pinewood Residential Care Home in Chigwell hosted a Hollywood-themed event for Macmillan's World's Biggest Coffee Morning

Hollywood stars took over a nursing home as part of a charity event.

Residents and staff at the Pinewood Care Home, in Manford Way, Chigwell, dressed up as famous actors and actresses for their film-themed Macmillan coffee morning on Friday.

Among the icons people dressed up as were Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and Judy Garland.

Classic films and their soundtracks were played throughout the day and participants enjoyed cakes and other treats.
