A 58-year-old man who stole £10 worth of netting from a shed must pay £225, a court ordered on Monday.
Gerarvo Olalla took the netting from a storage shed at The Warren Tennis Club in Overton Drive, Wanstead, having entered as a trespasser.
Barkingside magistrates fined him £120 and ordered him to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
The Godwin Road, Forest Gate, resident pleaded guilty.
