Glade Primary School held its seventh annual Evening Of Song last night, with children, staff and members of the community taking part.

More than 150 people attended the school, in Atherton Road, Clayhall, with the hall brilliantly decorated to the theme of “reach for the stars”.

Both of the school’s choirs sang, accompanied by parents, and it was another fantastic event.

There were several solo pieces, from ex-Glade pupils who now attend Caterham High School, in Caterham Avenue.

Davida Robinson, Glade teacher, said: “We can see how the children have progressed musically on their journey through primary to high school.”
