A blaze which destroyed the roof of a home in Clayhall is being investigated by firefighters.

Twenty five firefighters were called to a home on Dunspring Lane at 1.37pm on Sunday, October 21.

The roof was destroyed by the fire and two people left the property before the arrival of the Brigade.

Four fire engines attended and brought the blaze under control by 3pm.

The fire crews were from Hainault, Ilford, Woodford, Leytonstone fire stations.

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Brigade.
