A police cordon is in place after a car was found on fire in Clayhall.

Police were called by the London Fire Brigade at 5.18am on Saturday, October 13 to reports of a car on fire on Park View Gardens at the end of Lord Gardens.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers attended and there were no reported injuries.

“There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.”

Police officers have taped off a section of the road while forensics investigate the scene.
