A Christmas market, entertainment and light switch-on will be part of the festive fun in the first Seven Kings Winter Festival today.
Businesses and community groups will be running market stalls in the station car park, in High Road.
Peckish shoppers can buy snacks from the food court and there will be entertainment and activities for children, including a teacup ride, storytelling and arts and crafts.
The market will run from 9-4pm, leading up to the switching on of the Christmas tree at 4.15pm.
The world’s oldest marathon runner Fauja Singh will be doing the honours outside Seven Kings railway station and there will be performances by the Kenneth More Theatre.
