Youngsters got to try out their best “dino roars” when a children’s author stopped by at a store to sign copies of her prehistoric tale.
Naomi Burman-Shine, 46, visited The Village Bookshop, in High Road, Woodford Green, on Saturday to meet fans of Stonely’s Pet Dinosaur.
The former television production accountant’s book tells the story of cave boy Stonely, who decides to find himself a pet dinosaur after being inspired by his best friend Fred - whose pet has won prizes for having the loudest dino roar.
As well as getting their copies signed, children at the event enjoyed face painting and other activities.
