Two children were injured when a lorry and a car crashed this morning in Woodford Green.
The girls, aged 10 and 12, were taken to hospital with minor injuries with a 34-year-old woman after the accident in Woodford New Road.
Paramedics were called at 7.40am and part of the road was closed, causing traffic jams near the junction with Empress Avenue.
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said two ambulances took the patients to Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.
She added: “The lorry driver was checked over at the scene and did not need hospital treatment.”
