From pipe cleaners to coloured paper, spooky art supplies were handed out at Emerson Road, Ilford, and little ones made webs, bat puppets, spiders and scary masks.

Hardip Sohal, branding and marketing manager, said: “Valentines Mansion is pleased to offer such a varied and exciting events calendar to the public – this week, we’ve had fully booked sessions in not only arts and crafts, but spooky tales with professional storyteller John Kirk.

“But most importantly, we’ve had lots of very happy families.”
