Families got into the swing of Halloween with plenty of pumpkin carving at a community party on a Wanstead allotment.

Children packed into the Nutter Lane allotments on Wednesday, to enjoy food, drink and plenty of spooky games.

The party had been prepared in advance by Goodgym Redbridge, who perform community tasks while getting fit.

On Saturday the fitness fanatics spent a day cleaning out the allotment, so local youngsters could hold a Halloween party during half term.
